This week L. ordered a Birthday COOKIE Bouquet for M., her husband... he doesn't like cake nor sweets, but he likes COOKIES... so this was a perfect birthday gift for him...I made 15 COOKIES in bright colors... balloons, stars, a birthday cake and a scalloped oval were the shapes L. chose... the scalloped oval read Feliz Cumpleaños (Happy Birthday), and the cake was personalized... I love tissue paper! So full of color and fun...

Those look perfect! You're right...I like the tissue paper, too. It really fills in the areas between the cookies and looks great!

I'm not usually a fan of the "cookie bouquet" but yours looks super cute.
I recently got a request for one and am researching the logistics of the whole thing.
What do you stuff in the container that keeps the cookies standing??
I'm not a COOKIE Bouquet fan, either but they ask for them all the time... I use dry floral foam... I'm sending you a small tuto, hope you like it :)

Why do you think people love those bouquets so much?
All I can think of is that company Cookies by Design. They're cookies are made with some kind of weird oils and don't taste very good (IMHO), and the designs are very garish and juvenile. So I guess when it comes to the bouquets and cookie sticks, that's all I can think of.
I don't know if that vase filler will work for these COOKIE Bouquets... what people like about them (I guess), is that you can "show them off" and you can use tham instead of flowers as table centers... :)
